The 42nd episode of “FC Underground,” covers the week of Feb. 6-Feb. 10, 2012. “FC Underground” is a weekly segment hosted by Brooke Stobbe, ’12, and produced by Austin Rurik, ’12.
For a change of pace, Stobbe and Rurik complete a “speed” version of their show and give a “behind the scenes look’ at FC Underground.
Talent Show auditions are this week, Monday- Wednesday. See student leadership class or Adviser Robert Foshee.
Brother to Brother starts the week on Tuesday with a training session for the older brothers and a lunch meeting on Wednesday.
Spanish and CSF clubs are meeting at lunch on Friday and CSF members must provide permission slips to adviser Molly Sargent. CSF members can go off campus for lunch twice a month with permission.
The yearbook class is now collecting art pieces to include in a literary magazine. Those interested must get their art to adviser Molly Sargent in the next week.
Winter sports athletes will celebrate Senior Nights this week: girls soccer on Thursday with boys soccer on Friday; boys and girls basketball will be on Friday. The soccer games begin at 3 p.m. while girls basketball starts at 6 p.m. and the boys basketball tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
Club Asia meets every Friday so be sure to come to Room 604 at lunch.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.
“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Stobbe and Casuga took up the job until this year.
