GIRLS’ SOFTBALL, 2011-12

EAGLES DEFEATED BY BEARS–Feb. 29
The Eagles were scheduled to host the Sierra Pacific Bears, but due to rain the game was cancelled after 2 innings, Feb. 29. Although the game was called early, senior Amanda Merzon hit a triple at the bottom of the second inning. Due to Merzon’s hit, she received an RBI as well as sophomore Jenna Weimer who had an RBI and a stolen base. Both Merzon and Weimer’s efforts allowed the Eagles to score 2 runs, ending the match 11-2.

As of now, it is unknown if the Eagles will take a forfeit or will reschedule the game.

The Eagles will next play against Mendota High School, March 2.
