With The Feather Online expanding its multimedia offers during the 2011-12 school year, two freshmen have taken on a new video program.
Christopher Grossman and Nick Fontes propose to bring to light campus events but with a twist. They want an excuse to present crazy ideas so that their peers will go online and stay there longer. This is the first installment of The Show.
The boys opened episode No. 1 by reviewing FC’s premiere winter event: the Night of the Stars (NOTS) formal. The Feb. 18 event brought together all four classes to eat a catered dinner and watch their movies. Fontes interviewed a couple of NOTS guests and the boys also offered their opinions on the event.
Then to mix up the video, a group of four students were asked what they would be willing to do for a Klondike bar? And, to be honest, a couple of their peers were willing to something gross. Of course they were put to the test.
The Show wraps up with a psychoanalysis session that leads to a discussion of the boys basketball team preparing for the CIF Division V playoff games. The boys interview a couple of players and some fans.
The varsity boys will play for a consecutive Division V Valley championship against Laton and, if they win, will host a State game as well.
Look for future shows which will include personal anecdotes, personality profiles, sports commentary, skits and comedy routines.

I really wish that I could have heard this speaker; the topic of grace is dear to my heart. Is there maybe a recording?

Sounds like a great chapel.
