After a rigorous seven months in competition, the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) will present the winners of the Gold and Silver Crown Awards, March 16. The awards cover material for print, digital, online, literary and yearbook publications. The number of awards presented is relative to each year.

Although many Feather staff members were able to attend the conference at Columbia University in New York City, NY, many parents, supporters, faculty and other staffers were unable to travel.

The Feather was first nominated for a CSPA Crown in 2009, and received a silver. The following two years, CSPA presented The Feather Online with a Gold Crown.

The CSPA has provided a free online streaming of the awards ceremony for those unable to attend the conference. The presentation will begin at 11:30 a.m. Pacific; 2:30 p.m. Eastern. The video can be found below.
