The 48th episode of “FC Underground,” covers the week of March 19-23, 2012. “FC Underground” is a weekly segment hosted by Brooke Stobbe, ’12, Callista Fries, ’15, and produced by Austin Rurik, ’12.
The publications staff returned from New York City on Sunday and was awarded a Silver Crown by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
The baseball team is hosting Kings Christian on March 20 to open their season.
Coach Dan Stockton is promoting golf on campus so is asking students to wear golf attire on March 21. Those who do will be rewarded with a free ice cream.
With graduation only 65 days away, parents are meeting to discuss the grad party on March 22 from 7-9 p.m. in Room 621.
Spanish Club meets on Friday, March 23 at lunch to discuss upcoming events. The annual Powder Puff flag football game will be Friday as well from 6-8 p.m. Come support the boys cheering and the girls playing.
Spring sports photos will be taken March 26 so be prepared and have uniform to change into during the day.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.
“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Stobbe and Casuga took up the job until this year.
