The 49th episode of “FC Underground,” covers the week of March 26-30, 2012. “FC Underground” is a weekly segment hosted by Brooke Stobbe, ’12, Callista Fries, ’15, and produced by Austin Rurik, ’12.
All spring sports will be taking yearbook photos, March 26. Be sure to bring uniforms and be ready by 2 p.m.
Stobbe promotes the drama department’s upcoming spring play: Cheaper by the Dozen. While school is out for spring break, April 2-9, Eagle actors and actresses will be practicing for the play. Tickets are $5 at the door or from any theatre person. Cheaper by the Dozen performance dates are April 12 at 1:30 p.m. and 13 and 14 at 7 p.m.
This is Spiritual emphasis week in order to prepare for Easter. Each day, except Wednesday, there will be worship in Ground Zero.
Tennis will host Caruthers for a match, March 27, starting at 3:30 p.m. Baseball will also host its second home game against Firebaugh. Game time is also 3:30 p.m.
Career Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, March 28. Twelve different careers will be shared by campus alumni during the afternoon. So students will listen to presentations and have opportunity to ask questions.
The campus cheerleaders have earned a spot to compete at the USA Nationals competition in Anaheim, March 30-April 2.
Remember, school is out next week for spring break. All classes resume April 10.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.
“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Stobbe and Casuga took up the job until this year.
