GOLF 2012

BADGERS TOP EAGLES–March 20
FC played Yosemite at Sunnyside Country Club without freshman Colby Lee, the Eagles lost 235-258, March 20.

Freshmen Christopher Grossman felt that despite the loss, the team played well.

“It was a tough match, especially because we were missing our #4 guy, Colby.” Grossman said. “Personally, I didn’t play my best. It’s a little frustrating to have three guys that are so close to breaking into that range of golfers that can consistently shoot under 50, and as a team we really need that. Once we achieve that level, our team will be miles ahead. Essentially, the only thing we need to do is eliminate the bad holes.”

The Eagles were led by seniors Jeff Roseth and Tyler Zaentz, who shot 40 and 38, respectively.

The Eagles will next play CVC at Sunnyside, March 26.
