GOLF 2012

EAGLES FALL SHOT AGAINST CVC–March 26
The Eagles held a home match against Central Valley Christan, at Sunnyside Country Club, March 26.

Despite a few low FC scores, they fell to the Cavaliers, 212-234.

Although the team posted a pretty good score, sophomore Jason Kim feels that no loss is a good one.

“I played pretty bad,” Kim said. “I did have a par when my game came out of hiding, but I was not hitting the ball well due to the inconsistency of my swing. As a team, I have to say that we played OK although Chris [Grossman], Colby [Lee] and I didn’t play our best. This team has the potential to be shooting 220 or less, and need to continue to do work.”

Kim wants to put in a lot of extra hours over spring break to bring his game up to where he’d like it.

“You will see 45 very soon,” said Kim. “I will continue to go hard, and am looking forward to having fun with my teammates and I also hope we can be championship contenders this year. Go Eagles!”

FC will next play a tri-match against Yosemite and Bullard, March 29 at Sierra Meadows Golf Course.
