The 50th episode of “FC Underground,” covers the week of April 10-14, 2012. “FC Underground” is a weekly segment hosted by Brooke Stobbe, ’12, Callista Fries, ’15, and produced by Austin Rurik, ’12.

The baseball team has a home game against Riverdale, April 10, and will travel to Tranquillity, April 12, to open their West Sequoia League season. Stobbe and Fries encourage Eagles fans to support the FC boys as they are currently undefeated. Game times are 4 p.m.

Spanish Club is meeting on Tuesday at lunch in Room 603. The club will be preparing decorations for the festivities on Cinco de Mayo.

Stobbe promotes the drama department’s upcoming spring play: Cheaper by the Dozen. While school is out for spring break, April 2-9, Eagle actors and actresses will be practicing for the play. Tickets are $5 at the door or from any theatre person. Cheaper by the Dozen performance dates are April 12 at 1:30 p.m. and 13 and 14 at 7 p.m.

Student Body President senior Brady Lee is a California Scholastic Federation Seymour Finalist and is going to be honored the annual conference, April 14. Students who want to support him can also attend this event at Porterville High School at 10 a.m.

The athletic office wants to track all senior athletes who receive scholarships and intent to play in college or university. Let them to so they can let The Fresno Bee know.

The Choir and Ensemble will perform at a Festival at Clovis North High School, April 13. Drivers are needed as the groups will leave at 8 a.m. and return at noon.

There is a grad night meeting for parents. Parents of seniors- an email letter was sent out on April 2 regarding Grad Night. If you did not receive it, please email Gail Neufeld at: [email protected] and she will forward it to you. There is a time dated response needed. Thank you.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.

“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Stobbe and Casuga took up the job until this year.
