BULLARD, YOSEMITE DOWN FC–March 29
Nearing league play the Eagles had one match left against Division I Bullard and DI Yosemite at Sierra Meadows Golf Course in a special 9-point scoring format, March 29.

Jeff Roseth, ’12, and Tyler Zaentz, ’12, both shot 72 to lead FC. Roseth says he knew Bullard was going to be a tough opponent to overcome.

“I was looking forward to playing the Bullard guys because they’re one of the best in the valley,” Roseth said. “Even though it was a team I knew we didn’t have much of a chance of winning so I wanted to focus on my own game and get as low a score as I could.”

Head Coach Jeff Hopper says playing with Bullard was a good opportunity for the team to watch and play with one of the top teams in the Central Section.

“We had a great afternoon in the mountains, playing with Yosemite and Bullard,” Hopper said. “Bullard may be the top team in the section, so it was great to watch and learn from their guys.”

The Eagles will next play in the WSL Mini-Tournament at Airways, April 10.

We will miss you, Mrs. Dooley. You were one of my favorite members of the Fresno Christian staff.
