FC Underground, 2012-13, No. 1 (VIDEO)

The 1st episode of “FC Underground, 2012-13” covers the week of Aug. 13-17, 2012. This is sophomore Callista Fries’ first show. FC Underground is a weekly segment hosted by Fries and it is produced by senior Juan Ruelas.

If any students are interested in taking a Chinese class, there is still openings, so sign up with Michelle Warkentine.

For any scheduling needs, students may ask the office or make an appointment with Michelle Warkentine.

Junior and senior boys are needed to sign up for Brother to Brother. Sign ups begin Aug 14 and end Aug. 21. The first training session will start on Aug. 28.

More boys are needed for the varsity football team. For questions, contact Mike Fuller in the Athletic Office or by email.

The segments consist of news, interviews, profiles and comments on campus life. Each episode is between two and three minutes in length.

“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring, ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Brooke Stobbe and David Casuga took up the job until the end the 2011-’12 school year. Now, Fries and Ruelas have continued the segments.
