The FC drama class will perform two christmas plays this year Christmas With Little Women and The Christmas Dress. They will preform on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m., and Dec. 9 at 4 p.m. in the Student Ministries Center, main stage. The performance will be free of charge and open to the public.
Drama teacher Susan Ainley, with the coming performance, talks about their performance and what is different this year from last.
“For the first time, drama class has both junior high and high school students,” Ainley said. “At first, the age difference seemed to present some problems, but this group has come together as a team. I decided to present two short plays so every student would get a chance to be a part of it.”
Eighth grader Tyler Villines is a part of the drama class and explains his excitment for his upcoming play.
“I’m excited for the play because I like preforming,” Villines said. “It’s a great play and I’m looking forward to performing in it.”
Jenna Orcutt, ’13, is another student with the drama group and she expresses her feelings on why she likes being in christmas plays.
“I’m excited because it’s always fun doing the christmas plays,” Orcutt said. “I like bringing the christmas spirit and theres a lot of energy in the class and will mean a lot of energy on stage.”
