TRACK AND FIELD 2013

WSL no.2–April 10

WSL no. 2

The FC track team ran at the WSL no. 2 track meet that was hosted at Caruthers High School, April 10. The meet lasted from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There were four teams participating in the meet, including FC.

Track coach Myster Hollimanhad the track players participate in events they usually do not participate in. Myster feels that league meets are for practice and also where the team can work on improving.

“The athletes ran different events then what they are used to because it is strictly training purposes”, Myster said. “We don’t look at league meets as any standard of what we are supposed to be or where we are supposed to be at. What we are looking towards to is the end of the season. We are looking at the end of April and even farther in to mid May because we have athletes that can make it that far into the season. We can care less about what they are running. It is all about what they are doing at the end of the year.”
