EAGLES DROP THIRD STRAIGHT LEAGUE MATCHUP, OCT. 15

The Eagles hosted the Minarets Mustangs, Oct. 15. FC was playing their third league game; they had lost the first two.

The Mustangs came out strong, establishing their prowess on the road by winning the first set 25-13.

Minarets played well in the second set, limiting the Eagles to only seven points on the way to a victory.

In the third set, FC gained some ground, fighting off the Mustangs to win 25-20.

However, Minarets took the fourth set 25-16, sealing the match. This would be the third straight loss for the Eagles, all in league play.

Senior Annaleah Madison thinks that FC had no energy in the match.

“We came out weak,” said Madison. “If we want to defend our home court, we’re gonna have to act like we own it. When we have no confidence, we play as if we don’t know what we’re doing, and then games like this happen.”

The Eagles will next play the Parlier Panthers in Parlier, Oct. 17.
