BRIEF: CJSF provides Candy Grams on campus

With Valentines Day coming upon us, the California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF) continues their annual tradition in selling candy grams to junior high and high school students for one dollar.

These bags of candy include goodies ranging from licorice to heart-shaped chocolates; they also include a hand written note, on heart-shaped paper.

These candy grams are a great and easy way to show a friend or special someone that they are appreciated on Valentines Day.

The CJSF students have been working vigorously for the past two weeks completing all the orders and providing candy grams to the campus community and sending love to the students on campus.

Junior Kim Ward enjoys having candy grams passed around, as it is a unique way to show someone you care for them.

“I love candy grams,” Ward said. “They are such a cute way to show your friends you’re thinking about them. It’s also a really good way for the school to raise money. What’s great is that everyone can participate in giving candy grams.”

Freshmen Daniel Ayers thinks candy grams are very cool and fun for the school to provide.

“Candy grams are great,” Ayers said. “It’s a good way for people, like me, to express how they feel to someone without all of the embarrassment that comes with it. I will be sending a couple of candy grams to people.”

Candy grams will be passed out Friday, Feb. 14 during lunch by CJSF members.
