Dear editor,

I would like to commend our Fresno Christian High School students on the start of a wonderful year. Principal [Gary] Schultz and I have recognized the positive attitude on campus.

It has been exciting to see the enthusiasm exhibited at the pep rally, the games and in the classrooms. Chapels have been fabulous with student-led praise, worship and prayer.

Academically our students have a fantastic new tool in Powerschool. Students and parents can log into our web site from home and view grades, attendance and assignments.

The best story of this year comes from a group of senior guys. At every lunch they gathered to pray for our school. No wonder our year has started so well.

I look forward to building relationships with our students. Thanks for a memorable beginning.
