Senior captain Coleton Hutchins sparked the Eagles’ seven-run sixth inning with his three-run home run over the left field fence, April 1. FC overcame a nine run deficit in the final two innings to defeat the Mendota Aztecs, 12-11, for the third time this season.

After receiving the signal for a home run, Hutchins immediately broke out into a sprint as he rounded the bases.

“The home run symbol does not mean run faster,” Jordan Lowery, ’09, said. “He never slows down whether it’s a home run or a base hit.”
