With a crowd forming around them, Danielle Lauber, ’12, left center, as Daphney Davis, looks up incredulously while Paul Ocheltree, ’12, as Noah Cane, right center, discovered Bart Allen, ’12, shot and newly dead. Allen as Teddy was accidentally “shot” during the junior high production of The Man Behind the Mask, May 5.
Earlier in the scene, the phantom (Shane O’Brien, ’12, not pictured) exchanged blanks for real bullets in the prop gun used in the show. Unsuspecting Regina, played by Brooke Stobbe, ’12, right, shot Teddy, while the two were in an argument.
The junior high produced its first full-length play in campus history under the direction of director Tom McEntee.
The high school will also stage the play on May 9-10 in Ground Zero at 7 P.M.
