Even the smallest should not let others look down on them because they are young. These three cheerleaders took to the field as part of the week-long cheer clinic, Sept. 22-26.
Kindergartener Emily Douty is flanked by Marin Mohr, left, and Morgan Parker as they cheer during halftime of the junior varsity game. As English teacher Natalie Douty’s daughter, Emily follows the tradition of many children of cheerleader moms.
“I participated in cheer clinic from kindergarten through the sixth grade,” Natalie (not pictured) said. “Then from junior high through high school I taught cheer clinic.”
Daughter Emily said she loved to stunt during the game and mom Natalie said her favorite cheer was the jump up, jump back routine. Natalie graduated from FC in 1995 and teaches sophomore English and junior high yearbook.
