The 2008 homecoming queen nominees believed the most traumatizing part of the Oct. 2 queen pageant would be bobbing for playing cards in a vat of gloppy warm oatmeal.

However, the next challenge topped the charts, as student leadership forced them to gobble down two hot dog buns filled with cold refried beans, along with a glass of warm milk.

While Megan Ortiz, not pictured, won the contest, Brittany Stobbe, left, and Ani Paparigian conducted an intimidation contest while consuming their bland starch, trying to win by staring each other down with oatmeal-encrusted eyes.
