Despite her fierce struggle to drown the other candidates in oatmeal at the queen pageant the previous day, nominee Janae Ford accepted her crown as homecoming queen with grace and decorum on Oct. 3.
Accompanied by her father, Robert Ford, and a huge bouquet of flowers, Ford was crowned by 2007 homecoming princess Samantha Krikorian, amid uproarious cheers from the stands.
