While she required an entire hour to remove oatmeal and milk from her hair after the queen pageant on Oct. 2, nominee Natalie McCallum appeared breakfast-food free when presented with the title of 2008 homecoming princess, Oct. 3.
“I was shocked, and I was excited,” McCallum said. “And I was confused. It was all happening so fast ? a surreal moment.”
