Though his Fowler opponent, left, passed him with a final sprint, Clark Jacobson still ran a personal-best 24:05 to earn 27th place (his best finish of the season) at the Hanford Invite, Sept. 19.
“I was so mad he passed me,” Jacobson said. “I didn’t have any energy left though; I was dead.”
