For the first time in three years, the class of ’09 won the championship round of the powder puff football. Each year, the girls have gone 1-1 in the annual tournament, but on Nov. 21, the seniors won it all.

Throughout the game, the senior offense strength was running the ball to win their game against the juniors, 26-12. Captain Larissa Hensley, left, helped lead the team with runs along with fellow captains Katie White, not pictured, and Janae Ford, right back.

Despite some difficulty grabbing their opponent’s flags, Kally Batesole, not pictured, picked up the slack with many spectacular catches.
