With visions of home economics teacher Sharon Scharf’s cookies and sugar plums dancing in his head, freshman Scotty Jennings, left center, scans a pile of tasty treats during lunch. The leadership class supplied cookies and hot chocolate on Christmas Spirit Day, Dec. 10.
“They were great and delicious,” Jennings said. “While the sprinkle cookies were good, they are not as good as Mrs. Scharf’s cookies. My favorites are chocolate or snickerdoodles.”
For the first time this year, Jennings was not chided for taking more than one cookie as Scharf often offers him one during class.
In order to wash down his dessert, Jennings drank two hot chocolates and said he could have easily downed one more.
Fellow Santa lover, freshman James Nebbe, left, and sophomore Shelby Decker also were served a snack by junior Eric Johnson.
