After placing first in the Large Varsity Division and receiving Grand Champions at the Sacramento Capital Classic, the campus super squad competed at the Golden State Spirit Association (GSSA) Spirit 1 Cheer and Dance Championships at the Sacramento Convention Center, Dec. 13.

But despite competing at the GSSA competition for the first time, the FC squad won its division for a third straight title this year and won the coveted Grand Champion award as well. The Eagle cheerleaders defeated 6 other high schools, including Clovis High and Sacramento High and were crowned overall champions in the high school division.
