Who says Spanish students must stick to the stereotypical classroom activities? For the first time, teacher Maria Adame, front left, decided to spread Christmas joy around campus. In order to encourage the holiday spirit, Adame took her Spanish II class to sing Christmas carols for the two third grade classes.
While some students often dislike performing, sophomore Tim DeGroot, second from the left, enjoyed this new tradition.
“Singing for the elementary kids in Spanish was so much fun,” DeGroot said. “It was especially fun when we gave them candy and their faces lit up.”
