Freshman Jeremiah Brown scored 16 on Liberty Christian and just missed out on a double-double with 9 rebounds during the Eagle’s 78-28 win.
Brown, right, scored 3 points versus Coast Union, Jan. 2, including this basket over the top of a Bronco defender.
“It was good to see Jeremiah have some good moments,” head coach Chris Schultz said. “When he catches the ball, he is not afraid to attack the rim and put together a good game.”
Brown is the second freshman to make the varsity team in Shultz’s three years at the helm. The other was Landon Martens, ’10, during the 2006-07 season.
