As the only freshman on the team, Danielle Lauber’s experience as a goalie outshone her youth throughout the season.

Although Lauber’s decision to leave the school disabled her from competing with the team for the second semester, Lauber continued to play for the Eagles throughout Christmas break to give them a boost into the season.

Allowing only one goal to get by her in the 1-0 loss against Firebaugh, Dec. 4, Lauber provided the team with tough defense at the goal.

Abby Bauer, ’09, will take over as goalie for the remainder of the season.
