Providing consistent scoring for her team night-in and night-out, Larissa Hensley is averaging nearly 20 points-per-game in her fourth and final varsity season.
Hensley, middle, despite being sandwiched by defenders, converted this short jumper early in the 4th quarter versus Mission Prep, Jan. 3. However, it proved to be one of only two Eagle baskets in a quarter that saw FC shoot 7% from the field in a 43-39 loss at the Mission Prep Showcase.
Nonetheless, the Eagles learned from the experience and came away stronger as a team according to head coach Josh Tosland.
“I know there are much larger things in our near future that we have our sights set on,” Tosland said, “and am eagerly awaiting how we will respond.”
