Despite the rainy weather and slippery field, the boys’ soccer team continued to battle against Tranquillity, Feb. 10.
Despite losing to the Tigers 8-0, freshman center mid-fielder, Sean Carter, center, was able to receive passes from senior forward Shane Darkarjian, left, and dribbles past the opposing mid-fielders. Though height is not an advantage he possesses, the little man’s speed and agility make up for his small size.
As a freshman on a varsity sport, Carter finds he must make up for his size by increasing heart.
“The team grew closer with each game and practice and soon functioned like a family,” Carter said. “I’m looking forward to the coming years and I’m thankful for all the time [coach] Matt [Markarian]put into us.”
