Who says cheer is all work and no play?

After the JV boys’ basketball team finished the match against Fowler, Feb. 17, sophomores Sara Visciglio, left, Bree Ainley, right, and freshman Brookie Stobbe decided to tattoo their tongues with fruit roll-ups for the varsity game.

While the girls’ blue tongues did not stay vibrant for the entire game, their endeavor to have a memorable last game proved enjoyable.

The JV cheer team will next compete alongside varsity at the United Spirit Association (USA) Nationals in Anaheim, CA, March 28.
