While most athletes are able to distinguish between different sports, freshman Chandler Vargus, center, became confused as to what sport he was playing, Feb.17. As two Redcat defenders ran towards him, Vargus’ football instincts came into play in order to protect the ball.

In continuing with football-like techniques, Vargus took on the position of running-back in attempt to make his way to the end-zone or rather, basket, as Fowler players followed, ready to tackle.

While the JV boys basketball team’s season was filled with many close games, the Eagles unfortunately lost to the Redcats, 43-33.
