Trying to hold back tears, Krieghoff felt the championship title slip through her fingers once again, with a loss against Coast Union, 44-42, at Selland Arena.

Although the Eagles lost the game at Selland, they ended the season 22-7 overall, and 8-0 in the West Sequoia League.
