While the choir and band traveled to the Heritage Music Festival and performed before adjudicators, it was also a chance for the group to bond and spend a weekend together.
The choir spent March 19-22 in San-Diego, and received the highest scores over every school in the competition. Because of their stellar performances, they were rewarded with three trophies and two plaques.
Prior to their performance, the choir took a trip to a large outdoor mall. While shopping with a group of friends, seniors Aylse Gulack, center left, and Nikki Erickson, center right, display their crazy sides. They enjoyed the opportunity to have fun and relax before getting down to business for the competition.
