After over seven months of working their routine daily, preparing for the finale in Anaheim, the campus cheerleaders performed at the United Spirit Association (USA) Spirit Nationals, March 28.

The Eagles’ energetic beginning motion section and group stunt earned the ladies cheers and support from the crowd and smiles from the panel of judges.

While FC’s performance did not include dropped stunts or missed motions, an illegal stunt lowered the squad’s score preventing it from progressing to the finals, March 29.

Out of 20 schools in the Super Varsity Show cheer division, the girls received a ninth place trophy and a total of 85 points. This is the lowest score the team has received this competition year.
