After completing months of arduous journalism labor, the fatigued webmaster, senior Andrew Rurik, shuts down for Easter break. In his eighth period journalism class, Rurik celebrated the end of the National Scholastic Press Association’s (NSPA) Online Pacemaker judging season with a well-deserved nap.
Since school began in August, staff members of The Feather Online worked to earn a place in the Columbia Scholastic Press Association and NSPA competitions. In result of the exhausting toil, The Feather Online is nominated for both awards.
Rurik’s chore of the site’s layout, along with assistant webmaster, freshman David Casuga, keeps The Feather Online current and up-to-date. Therefore, when Rurik finally had time to take a breath, he took advantage of the opportunity.
