Suprising math teacher Mike Fenton, left, in his first period math class, the home economics class presented a baby blanket to the teacher for his future baby boy, May 7.
“First period home economics found out that Mr. Fenton had a rubber ducky collection, and I had some rubber ducky flannel,” said Scharf. “They decided to make a baby quilt for baby Fenton, to add to the rubber ducky collection.”
Everyone in the first period home economics class participated in the project.
It was fun doing this together as a whole class.” sophomore Kelsey Gunner, not pictured, said. “Some of us sewed the fabric together and some of us tied the knots on top.”
