While the third period Precalculus class has a “Fiesta Friday” each week to celebrate the advent of the weekend, juniors Elizabeth Grossman, Shorty Powell and senior Brittany Stobbe, not pictured, took a Monday, May 18, to celebrate a different kind of fiesta ? math buddy Cassidy Hutchins’, ’11, sixteenth birthday.

The girls gathered on Sunday night and baked a cupcake the size of a human head to commemorate the event, which Hutchins enthusiastically enjoyed in her English class. According to sources, she has not yet removed all the frosting from her hair.
