Instead of calmly descending down the inflated water slide, one elementary boy breaks the mold with his jumping-frog impersonation, unleashing a chain of other rule-breaker trends to follow. At the annual kick-off carnival, many young deviants slid down their imaginative version of paradise for a hot summer day, Aug. 29.

Provided by the girls’ soccer team, the water slide attracted a wide array of participants, particularly children. Whether jumping into a slide or going face first, many students used their personal style to reach the bottom.
