After shooting a western rattlesnake in the foothills, junior Brett Lewis, right, felt a desire to examine its organs. Bringing the snake to biology class, Lewis and biology teacher Bill McGowen, center, bonded over the specimen that intrigued both of them.
Senior Doug Daniel, McGowen and Lewis carefully dissect the perished creature to satisfy their curiosity.
