After placing second in the Caruthers Raisin Harvest tournament, Sept. 5, the girls’ varsity volleyball team had a chance to reflect on their best finish ever.
The girls went 3-2-1 in the tournament but lost their last game against Caruthers High School (25-20, 25-23). Even though she had a fever, senior Jessa Searles, back far left, was named the tournament’s MVP. As a transfer from Clovis West High School, Searles established a new confidence for the team.
