Prior to the ClovisFest 2009, hot air balloons launch into the sky at 6 a.m. from the Clovis Rodeo Grounds. They proceeded to land shortly afterward at numerous landing points throughout the area, Sept. 19-20.
Since 1974, The ClovisFest has been held annually on the streets of Old Town Clovis during the third weekend of September.
