The Praisong Ensemble, which meets during zero period, sings at a benefit dinner at Flint Anderson’s house for his organization, Don’t Hide the Scars. Anderson came and spoke about his struggle with Vicodin addiction in chapel last year.
“This event was so much fun. It got our name out into the community, but more importantly it was our way to give back to Mr. Anderson for coming and sharing with us,” director Michael Odgon said. “The evening went really well, but we are still practicing hard for our next performance, our fall concert held in Ground Zero, which we are really excited about.”
Check back to The Feather for more information about the fall choral concert in Ground Zero, Oct. 12.
