After several hours of sketching, shading and smudging, freshman Katie Barisic shows off the “handiwork” of her labor during the Fresno Fair’s chalk art competition, Oct. 13.

Barisic participated in the chalk drawing as well as entering artwork in a competition in the Jr. Exhibit Building. As a new freshman, she has also taken on the role of cartoonist on The Feather.
