The freshman class entered their first homecoming competition with their chosen theme, Tomorrowland. After weeks of work, the group finalized the astral set, complete with Finding Nemo, balloons, lightsabers and bubbles. Despite the work, the class of 2013 came in fourth place, Oct. 16.
“I think that we should have won because we had the most energy and the loudest music,” freshman Jordan Boudreau said. “Our float was bouncing up and down because everyone was so excited. I thought that we did pretty good for being freshmen and new at building a float, but now that we semi-know what we are doing, I think next year will be even better and easier for us.”
