With the match tied, 3-3, the Eagles and the Cowgirls battled during the doubles matches to a near standstill. However, Riverdale came out on top and defeated FC, 5-4, for the second time this season. Freshman Kristen Rosenthal however defeated her singles opponent, 8-4, during the Oct. 1 match.
