?How beautifully leaves grow old. How full of light and color are their last days.? ?John Burroughs (1837-1921), American naturalist and writer.
Leaves change into many varieties of fall colors during autumn. Throughout the year, leaves remain the same hue of green, and provide shade for campus students and homes for birds and squirrels.
When the time comes for the leaves to turn bright yellows and fiery reds, the colors remain just long enough to establish their brilliance. Their most beautiful moments are in their hours of withering death.
Unlike the leaves which die quickly after their grand finale ebbs, students are given many opportunities to celebrate and prove what they know. With dedication, talents and knowledge will not whither away like the leaves of a tree; the brilliant moments in life will persevere through tenacity and zeal.
