En route to Pinedale Elementary School for the Book Buddies program, high school secretary Yoko Kilbourne dons a student’s hat and shows her excitement for the reading program.
While she is usually seen in the office, Kilbourne jumped on board the bus to Pinedale during participating students’ weekly trip. They read with students who often fall below the grade reading level.
