While the Eagles dropped their first three games of the Clovis Classic Invitational, senior Tatiana Fontes was a step among the rest of the Division I and II opponents the Eagles faced.

Fontes was selected to the All-Tournament team despite FC’s 1-3 record. In fact, Fontes did not play in the Eagles’ blowout victory over Fresno High.

Fontes led FC against Sunnyside with 14 points. But despite her efforts, the Eagles dropped their second straight game to open the season, 51-49, to the Wildcats, Dec. 3.
